Puppet Workshop
Join the creative team from Broken Puppet Collaborative Arts this half term, to help their Puppets – ‘Scrap’ the Mouse and ‘Scrunch’ the Squirrel – bring characters from your very own imagination to life, right before your eyes!
In this brand new immersive puppetry workshop, you’ll have 2 hours to explore character creation using sustainable materials, make a puppet to take home and even perform for your favourite humans in the Market Hall’s magical 360 immersive dome!
Step into Scrap and Scrunch’s brand new workshop to see where your senses, imagination and recycling can take you!
Essential materials will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring a few items of scrap or recycling with them to help make & decorate their puppets with, if they wish!
Suggested items: empty loo roll/kitchen roll tubes, Old/torn up clothes, cereal box card, clean plastic packaging, empty egg cartons, ribbon, string, tin foil, packaging & packing materials.
Suitable for ages 8-12.
Session running time: 2 hours
