As part of the Digital Futures project, you can gain access to introductory, intermediate, and intensive skills development in immersive production skills, including 360° filmmaking, editing and spatial audio. There will also be opportunities to learn about immersive business models including 360 domes and VR!

360° Filmmaking

Explore the basics of 360° filmmaking in our 1-day introductory course.

Learn the difference between traditional filmmaking and filming in 360° Take part in hands-on activities to film scenes with an Insta360 X2 and import and edit them in Insta Studio.

Intermediate – 3 Days

Join us for a more in-depth exploration of 360° filmmaking.

Film content using an Insta360 X2 camera. Afterwards, learn how to edit your short piece of film in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Intensive Course

If you’re looking for a more advanced exploration of 360 filmmaking, we can create bespoke opportunities to learn about filming with an InstaPro 2 camera. Utilising 6 lenses and filming at 8K capacity, you’ll create and edit a short piece of content across a series of interactive workshops.

SPATIAL AUDIO

Intermediate – 3 Days

Learn the basics of spatial audio!

Working together with a cohort of individuals, collect, and record a library of sounds that can be used to create a spatial soundscape.

Intensive Course

Are you looking to work on a specific project idea? We can work with individuals, or groups, over the course of 8 sessions to develop skills in spatial audio. Learn how to record, manipulate and edit spatial soundscapes.
