You will learn how to create a Repeat print –

Using a sticky backed paper making

One / two colour – ability dependant

Start at 10.00 –

Talk through the entire process

initial drawing / image planning

From 10 am – 12pm we will work at our own speed to create a repeat pattern.

Image selection

Drawing, ideas – concepts – varying size of image used

Simplification – review of pattern

Layout planning, redrawing

Cutting out image –

Setting up of screens

Everyone should have completed by 12pm

Quick review of work and discussion of what will happen in the afternoon.

Break of 30/40 minutes

Time for SD to set studio space ready for screen printing.

Afternoon

Selecting colours

Basic palette – ability to mix own selection from these –CMYK & White

Go through printing techniques

Cleaning screens / squeegee pressure / general cleanliness around printing.

Printing starts –

Continues until end 3.15pm –

Group clean of space

Drying / heat pressing of work
