For Ages 16plus

Explore the world of immersive sound and learn about creative technologies. Take part in this 2 day workshop and make music in surround using modular synths, sequencers and multidirectional speakers.

No prior experience necessary, these workshops will introduce you to the technology and help you improvise immersive music together.

This is a 2 day workshop-

Thursday 12th October- 10am-3pm

Friday 13th October- 10am – 3pm

Day 1- Thursday 12th October- 10am-3pm:

Show & Tell of instruments (including unusual modular synths, small sequencers and homemade instruments).

Patch making and exploring making music.

Day 2- Friday 13th October- 10am-3pm:

Making music together & improvising

Exploring surround sound with stereo & panning

Introduction to Quadrophonic sound

Showcase your creations and exploring pathways into industry.
