Description

Join us for the Green Devonport Survey community focus group and dinner, to explore the research and shape what happens next!

Welcome to our Community Meal & Conversation event!

Come join us on Thu Mar 28, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Market Hall for a night of delicious food and engaging discussions. This event is all about bringing our community together to share a meal and have meaningful conversations.

The Green Devonport Survey is a research project that aims to do two things: to test new approaches to online community engagement and participation, and to begin to better understand how people in Devonport feel about nature, what they think of their local environment and to what extent they might want to be more involved – it is the beginning of a conversation.

To build on the research, to better understand what people thought of the process and to say thank you, we are inviting people who took part to join us for dinner and a focus group session.

The event will be a chance to meet other people and organisations from the neighbourhood, to explore the outcomes of the research and to share your views on the process.

The event is free, involves an focus gruop porcess and will be hosted by Real Ideas and Plymouth University and will be held in the café space in the Market Hall with refreshments and catering from Hedgerow Hound.

The wider project is supported by Plymouth University through their community research Get Involved Awards scheme and is part of the city’s Green Community project supported by Plymouth City Council and partners.

Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to the area, everyone is welcome to attend. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, connect with neighbours, and learn more about what’s happening in our community.

So mark your calendars and don’t miss out on this wonderful evening of food, fun, and fellowship at Market Hall. We can’t wait to see you there!
